DIY Christmas Decor | How to get in the Christmas Spirit

Hello my loves! I spent ages on this video and really wanted it to be amazing so that’s why I didn’t upload it on Friday (yesterday) as planned. And since tonight I’ll be at a wine & cheese event, I … Continue reading

DIY Tumblr Inspired Canopy/Fort

Sometimes during my many sleepless nights, I find myself tumbling. No really, tumbling on da Tumblr. Okay that was so cheesy but we gonna go with it. I recently moved out my bed in my room-don’t ask- because I believed that it hampered with my productivity *cricket chirp*.  Obviously that was by no way a smart idea but still, I didn’t want a bed in my room anymore-I wanted something like a bed but more cosy and cute.

That’s where I came up with the idea of a canopy/fort. There are so many ways you can build a canopy and one of the easiest is if you have a bed of course, so in my case, it was a little different. I decided to use a hula hoop to create my little nook in my room and trust me, it was the easiest thing ever- it does help that it also takes up very little space and is E&I [easy & inexpensive].  Not to mention tumblr-ish especially with the fairy lights right?

So far, I spent two cosy nights in my canopy fort and it was soo comfy. I edit videos and read with my little bro and if I want to sleep, I can easily just pull out the comforter and make it a night.

What you need:

– a hula hoop: the bigger the hoop the bigger the canopy

– at least 2 curtains: 4 is ideal since it would be able to facilitate the 4 pieces of ribbon/tulle that would hold the canopy. I used 2 in this DIY and in the video, I show you how you can get around that

– ribbon/tulle

– fairy lights

– comforters, blankets, pillows

I will definitely be adding some more throw pillows to this stash soon enough!

Look who came to visit!

BTW, this VS wall…should it be white or no? Lemme know!

3 Last Minute Halloween Costumes| Eva Marie, Gypsy & Emoji

Hello my beauties! This is the last Halloween video that I’m doing on my channel and tbh, I wanted to do more but I just couldn’t find the time to do it- with two hectic jobs and all the rest of crazy in between. I still hope that you enjoyed all the DIYs I did and in case you’ve missed any, here is a playlist of my 2014 Halloween looks.

For this tutorial, I did 3 easy looks that you can put together for Halloween in like legit no time. The one and only thing that you might have to get is a red wig if you wanna do the Eva Marie #TotalDiva look but other than that, everything is probably in your closet already. For the makeup part, these weren’t really makeup tutorials so I didn’t really focus much on that aspect of it. But don’t worry, there are a ton of makeup tutorials in the world so you can choose from any of those.

last1Although I did a sequined bralette and leatherette skirt, please, by all means, feel free to go in your short shorts and bra top. It’s Halloween so you could really dress however you like. For the sake of this video, I chose to be a little PG with myself.

For the red wig I used, you can check out AB hair because they have a crazy huge selection of a ton of wigs. Best of all, you can get 30% off Halloween wigs using the code YTCOS30   You can also get a 15% discount on their website with the code ClassyA15

The gypsy was so easy to pull together because more than likely, you have everythangg already. A white chiffon blouse is ideal since it gives that loose look and then a purple/blue skater skirt will top this off right. The colour scheme I chose was in keeping with Esmeralda but feel free to do whatever suits you.

last3I used mardi gras beads for my bracelets, added big gold earrings and then I tied a beach wrap on top of my head to give me that gypsy-ish vibe.

The last look is for the UBER lazy girl and that’s the emoji girls. You know, these:

But like I said, it’s for the really lazy girl so all you need is black shorts, a black tank and then, since you’re probably so last minute already and can’t make the little headpiece, you can throw on a bando or something like that. Oh, and black ballet flats. How easy is that right?! Best of all, it’s ideal for you and your last minute friend as well.

Sorry I don’t have a pic of it for the blog post itself but it’s there in the video. Basically, my brother was helping me and and he didn’t tell me my top was super crinkly and it just made me look like a fatty.

Tell me which outfit you liked the most in the comments below!
